PROMINENT RELIENT PILLAR IN CALA

Boya Melikaya, born on December 3, 1977, in Upper Indwana Cala in Eastern Cape province, has been dedicated to inspiring and motivating others to concentrate and work hard from a young age.
Mr Boya “I started off as a kid with passion and positive mindset who younger and older people may look up to, here I am today playing a huge, vital and positive role on people in my community and other Communities.”
Boya has been involved in in various television and radio station in the Eastern Cape, including Cala Film Production and as a guest on Umhlobo Wenene FM radio station. H sets an immaculate example for his family and elders, fulfilling his childhood aspiration. Engaging fully with his community, he strives to bring happiness and satisfaction to all their endeavors.
He often assists older people in obtaining their identity documents and organizes events to help the community find jobs online and apply to various institutions. Last year, he hosted a successful campaign that drew significant attendance. Community members seized the opportunity to enroll in institutions and secure jobs at Dicla Farm, where they could fain skills and earn a stipend of R2500.00 per candidate.
“I believe this is going to be a life changing opportunity for most of us, let’s use it wisely” Boya implemented his statement.
As bad as it
was, Boya did his best to put people on greener pastures, and he is so
fortunate to witness so much change in the Community. “After a devastating
position I was, my life changed so drastically and positively after meeting Mr
Boya, I am grateful he did what he did for me and others.” Said Mahlomla
Sekgamane, who now works under Dicla Farm.
Boya’s
efforts have had a significant impact on the people in his community. As a
result, he recently received raise at work and has been receiving numerous
invitations from various occupations. Additionally, another community member,
Zukhanye Kanyisa Mashwabane, secured a prestigious job outside the town of Cala.

“I Never
thought I would be where I am at this point, and I never thought so many lives
would change positively all because of my consistency and hard work… All thanks to the person I looked up to when I
grew up”. So many lives in the Eastern Cape, Cala specifically have changed in
a good way and there are still some things that are still underway of changing
positively.
